Mas al sur is a down-home, country eatery in Merida, Yucatan that connects the flavors and stories of food from the Southern United States with the rich variety of meats and product grown by local farmers. Founders Madeline Beath and Susanna McKibben have deep roots in the South and with that foundation comes an understanding of the complex cultural layers of Southern cuisine.
Rooted in southern charm, Más al Sur’s neutral earth tones, hand-drawn illustrations, and timeless photography evoke feelings of nostalgia and authenticity. From its bold logo to the tactile brand materials - it’s a perfect blend of heritage and modern elegance. Embodying the full charm of the south, it’s history, and just plain ol’ good food.
